Overview

Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta offers a partial scholarship for international students, which includes a full waiver of tuition fees and coverage of Visa & KITAS costs.

These amounts represent the full value of tuition fees and immigration-related expenses covered by the university.

Please note: This scholarship does not cover living costs, such as accommodation, meals, personal expenses, return ticket, or local transportation. Students are expected to fund these independently.

Eligibility Criteria

  1. Graduates of Senior High School (SMA/SMK/MA) or equivalent who have passed the equivalency exam (Paket C) for Bachelor's (S1) applicants.
  2. Graduates from 2022 and 2023 must possess and submit their diploma.
  3. Graduates from 2024 must provide a Graduation Certificate (Surat Keterangan Lulus) that includes personal identification details and a recent photograph, officially sealed and stamped.
  4. Applicants must have at least one non-academic achievement during their high school years (SMA/SMK/MA or equivalent) in fields specified in section A.2. These achievements must be at the International, National, or Provincial level and must be proven with certificates and/or medals.
  5. Applicants must have academic or non-academic achievements, supported by a certificate of achievement or a report card with an average score of at least 7.5, 75, or B.
  6. Upload proof of achievements (maximum of 3 documents).
  7. Demonstrate English proficiency with one of the following certifications:
    IELTS: minimum 6.0
    TOEFL iBT: minimum 80
    TOEIC: minimum 693
    TOEFL CBT: minimum 213
    TOEFL PBT: minimum 500 or 550
    Duolingo: minimum 100
    English subject score in the report card: minimum 8 or equivalent to B
  8. All required documents must be translated into English.
  9. International students (non-Indonesian citizens) are eligible to apply for International Class programs (taught in English) or Regular Class programs (taught in Indonesian).
